The Backyard

The Backyard Brussel offers weekly classes in Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba, as well as monthly Salsa gatherings with live music and international artists. 

The founder of The Backyard School, Talal, opened The Backyard in 2021 as an event venue and cultural center. For over 20 years, Talal has been teaching salsa, leading workshops, and performing internationally throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa.

The Backyard's teaching focuses on individual feedback, as well as the instruction of basic techniques and styling. Quality, authenticity, and of course, fun are paramount. The Backyard has something to offer everyone, whether you're an artist, a dancer, or simply someone who enjoys artistic and cultural experiences.
